7月11日，若开民族党领导人埃貌博士发布声明表示，呼吁缅军与阿拉干军（AA）举行和谈，为缓解当前的军事紧张局势及防止若开邦再次发生冲突。
声明表示，若开邦人民希望恢复和平，以相互协商来寻找缓解军事紧张局势的办法。而停止相互逮捕人员、释放逮捕人员及停止诉讼可以缓解双方军事紧张局势。同时呼吁相关人员参与清除地雷和弹药，并且不要通过安全检查站来关团公共货运路线。
声明指出，阿拉干军（AA）与缅军建立政治协议是朝着正确方向迈出的第一步，同时声明中还对7月4日在泰缅边境被缅军空袭中丧生的6名AA成员表示哀悼。
Arakan National Party leaders call for peace talks between the Burmese army and AA to find a solution to the conflict between the two sides
On July 11, the leader of the Rakhine National Party, Dr. Ay Maung, issued a statement calling on the Tatmadaw to hold peace talks with the Arakan Army (AA) in order to ease the current military tension and prevent another conflict in Rakhine State.
The statement said that the people of Rakhine hope to restore peace and seek ways to ease military tensions through mutual consultation. The cessation of mutual arrests, the release of arrestees, and the cessation of prosecutions could ease military tensions between the two sides. At the same time, it called on relevant personnel to participate in the clearance of mines and ammunition, and not to close the mission's public cargo routes through security checkpoints.
The statement pointed out that the establishment of a political agreement between the Arakan Army (AA) and the Myanmar Army is the first step in the right direction, and the statement also pointed out that the six AA were killed in an airstrike by the Myanmar Army on the Thai-Myanmar border on July 4. Members expressed their condolences.
