掸邦进步党代表团抵达内比都与缅军政权举行会谈

据报道，掸邦进步党/掸邦军（SSPP/SSA）代表已抵达内比都与敏昂莱会面，以避免与孟休镇的缅军发生军事冲突，在掸邦南部双方之间的关系非常紧张。

掸邦进步党发言人赛篷汉少校表示，掸邦进步但决定与敏昂莱会面，以避免两军军事冲突给该地区人民带来进一步痛苦，通过谈判解决问题。“为了人民的利益，我们希望尽可能避免战斗，这就是我们谈判的原因”。

8月2日，由第一副主席凯戴（ခေးတိုင်）少将和第二副主席孔赛（hun Hseng）少将率领10人代表团抵达内比都，准备与缅军举行会谈。

8月4日，掸邦进步党代表与敏昂莱举行了会谈。赛篷汉少校称，希望会谈能带来双赢的解决方案，只有这样会谈才有意义，将在晚些时候宣布会谈的细节。

据悉，7月上旬缅军完成了与9家民族武装组织的会谈，由于孟休镇三个阵地的争端，与掸邦进步党的谈判一直没有举行，此外两军在孟休镇的对峙局势一度紧张，前不久缅军三个军区司令还抵达过周边一带，同时在孟休镇缅军还开展军事活动，但双方并没有发生过交火。

On August 4, representatives of the Shan State Progress Party held talks with Min Aung Hlaing. Major Saipanhan said he hoped the talks would lead to a win-win solution, and only then would the talks make sense, and details of the talks would be announced at a later date.

It is reported that in early July, the Myanmar army completed talks with 9 ethnic armed organizations. Due to the dispute over three positions in Menghu Town, negotiations with the Shan State Progressive Party have not been held. In addition, the confrontation between the two armies in Menghu Town was once Tension. Not long ago, the commanders of the three military regions of the Burmese army arrived in the surrounding area. At the same time, the Burmese army also carried out military activities in Menghu Township, but there was no exchange of fire between the two sides.
