眼镜蛇游击队在妙瓦底－沃雷公路袭击缅军部队并缴获一批军用物资

7月12日，缅军在克伦邦妙瓦底－沃雷公路遭眼镜蛇游击队袭击，包括营长、副营长多人死亡，并缴获缅军的一批军用物资。

消息称，当天早上8点左右，眼镜蛇游击队在克伦民族联盟（KNU）第6旅控制区妙瓦底－沃雷公路三转弯和德耶彬村之间袭击了缅军44师旗下的第8步兵营，双方爆发激烈冲突，期间，缅军包括营长，副营长多人死亡，眼镜蛇游击队有3名战士受伤。冲突过后，该游击队在清扫战场时还缴获缅军的一批军用物资。

缴获物资如下：

火箭筒21具、火箭弹26枚、地雷21枚、手榴弹17枚、地雷探测器1个、40毫米手炮弹31枚、60迫击炮弹29枚、5.56步枪子弹5000发、MA－1步枪一支、子弹3000发、按键手机7台，手机4台、缅币200万及部分刀、锄头、铲子等物资。

据了解，曾在7月7日，眼镜蛇游击队就曾在妙瓦底－沃雷公路一带袭击了试图入侵当地村庄的缅军第44师旗下的第9、102、204、207机动营和第8步兵营混合部队，双方爆发冲突后，缅军包括一名上尉共5人死亡，多人受伤。
