2名缅军携带武器向克伦民族保卫组织投诚

据有关媒体8月21日消息，驻扎在克伦邦妙瓦底镇的缅军第275步兵营2名士兵携带武器向克伦民族保卫组织（KNDO）投诚。

据投诚的2名缅军士兵表示：“我们早就不想呆在缅军部队了，缅军政权领导人为了自己的权力，利用、压迫我们屠杀平民和放火烧毁房屋。我们曾多次试图加入公民抗命运动（CDM），但由于担心家人，就一直没有参加。现在我们决定与人民站在一起完成这场革命。”

 

民族团结政府（NUG）表示，已向2名士兵颁发了奖金，并热烈欢迎那些从缅军政权逃出来并投靠人民怀抱的人。

 

据悉，虽然缅军政权一直散布虚假信息，以阻止底层士兵加入抗命运动。但由于缅军内部存在的不平等的现象，仍然有士兵不断出逃，并加入一些人民保卫组织（PDF）。目前，缅甸全国各地都有人民保卫军和民族武装在进行革命，以结束军事独裁，建立联邦民主制度。很多缅军底层军官因不能接受恐吓和杀害平民的行为，为了找回尊严，越来越多的士兵和军官不再做军事独裁者的傀儡，选择与人民站在一起。

2 Burmese soldiers surrendered with weapons to Karen National Defense Organization

According to relevant media reports on August 21, two soldiers from the 275th Infantry Battalion of the Myanmar Army stationed in Myawaddy Township in Kayin State surrendered to the Karen National Defense Organization (KNDO) with weapons.

According to two Tatmadaw soldiers who surrendered: "We have long wanted to stay in the Tatmadaw army. The leaders of the Tatmadaw regime used and oppressed us to slaughter civilians and set fire to houses for their own power. We have tried many times to join citizens. The Disobedience Movement (CDM), but never participated because of concerns about the family. Now we have decided to stand with the people to complete this revolution.”

The National Unity Government (NUG) said it had awarded bonuses to two soldiers and warmly welcomed those who escaped from the Tatmadaw regime and turned to the people.

It is reported that although the Burmese military regime has been spreading false information to prevent the bottom soldiers from joining the disobedience movement. However, due to the inequality within the Burmese army, there are still soldiers fleeing and joining some people's protection organizations (PDF). At present, the People's Guard and National Armed Forces are carrying out revolutions across the country to end the military dictatorship and establish a federal democratic system. Many lower-ranking officers of the Burmese army cannot accept the act of intimidating and killing civilians. In order to regain their dignity, more and more soldiers and officers are no longer the puppets of the military dictator and choose to stand with the people.
